    Responsibilities

    • Manage processes, principles and practices to ensure stability and performance of assigned network infrastructure.
    • Implement and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks and information.
    • Design computer security architecture and develop detailed cyber security designs.
    • Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal customers, business partners, vendors, team members, and peers to understand, build and maintain systems that provide outstanding business value.
    • Provide innovation and process improvement expertise regarding the supported environment and/or system software.
    • Ensure reliability of deployed solutions by designing reliable solutions and troubleshooting problems if they occur by getting the right people involved and engaged to resolve the problem
    • Write comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes and propositions for further system security enhancement.
    • Work closely with business partners and peers to identify needs, define and prioritize system enhancements, and allocate resources to support a complex set of interdependent projects
    • Handle SOC1/SOC2 Audits internally and handle external audits.
    • Hands on experience with Penetration testing, Security and vulnerability testing

    Qualifications

    • BS degree in Computer Science or related field, with 6 or more years of leadership experience in an IT environment, or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training.
    • Proven work experience as a system security engineer or information security engineer
    • Experience in building and maintaining security systems
    • Experience with network security and networking technologies and with system, security, and network monitoring tools
    • Detailed technical knowledge of database and operating system security.
    • Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols
    • Familiarity with web related technologies (Web applications, Web Services, Service Oriented Architectures) and of network/web related protocols
    • Problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure
    • Strong experience in multiple data center design and implementation
    • Hands on experience in security systems, including firewalls (Palo Alto or equivalent), intrusion detection systems, Access Policy Manager (F5 or equivalent), anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, etc.
    • Working knowledge of Cisco Nexus, ACI, VMWare NSX, Juniper Remote access, Pulse VPN, etc.
    • CISCO and Networking certification preferred
