About this Opportunity

MedFax is looking for a Verification Specialist to provide verification of physician affiliations and other data at it relates to demographics, practice data, hospital affiliations, eligibility information and other data. 

Responsibilities

  • Exhaust all avenues to link the appropriate physicians with the proper affiliations through internet searches or telephone verification
  • Research and accurately enter all pertinent information into appropriate data system of record for quality control review
  • Promptly identify incorrect and or missing affiliations and make the necessary revisions to ensure the appropriate relation or partnership
  • Check for errors, duplicates, or missing information
  • Proofread information and correct it before it is publishing
  • Evaluate and verify colleagues work to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Provide timely and detailed feedback regarding colleagues assigned tasks
  • Perform other duties as assigned including administrative tasks

Qualifications

  • Data entry experience
  • Call center experience and willingness to cold call
  • Must be able to type a minimum of 45 WPM accurately
  • Healthcare experience a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (including Word & Excel)
  • Detail oriented & good time management skills
  • Strong organization skills
  • Effective communication skills (both verbal & written

 

Education requirements

  • GED or High School Diploma
